Gorgeous spring Easter morning - check
Beautiful new spring suit - check
Baby Daughter dressed adorably complete with Easter bonnet - check

And as I scoop her up to leave for church:
vomit spewed upon us both - check!

Sorry for your missed trip to the gardens. Motherhood: license to wipe and to to miss out on far more than you'd like.

Ah K, thanks for the good tip. I knuckled down and got a pile of drawings colored. Only thirty four more pages to go. Hooyah!

I do so very much want to do some "Just for me art" but gotta get this book done first.

As the hub says, "Molten Lead, Molten Lead, up hill both ways." ;-)

next day The Boy is sick, have him sketch the same thing you do. I remember him as a toddler in your lap drawing at the same time as you, "just like mommy."

BTW, I think I have his same sniffles. I had the tummy trouble last week. If it's not one thing, it's another.

I like the idea of grandbabies already! We probably have a couple decades to go for that but what a cool thought!

So sorry you missed your Huntington trip! You absolutely win major gold stars in your Mommy crown for today. Dang. Good for you, but I know that was painful. Hope the Wonderkid is feeling better, and I'm hoping his Wondermom gets another trip to the Huntington SOON. You SO deserve some time off!

Best thoughts,
Julie
