Paper mania continues....
Worked in the garden this morning. The wonderhub fixed the fence and did some brick work. I'm not a green thumb or anything... Martha if you're reading this, relax, you have nothing to worry about. I'm a pretty good pruner though, I like giving everything a tidy. After filling up a giant trashcan with clippings, squealing like a guinea pig because something ran out of the bamboo over my foot and cleaning pots out I was tired.
.
So I sat and did some more paper cutouts. They are easy to do and relaxing.

I am LOVING these paper cutouts!! May I please request that you post some step-by-step instructions on some of them? When I try to make a simple snowflake or row of paperdolls, I end up with lots of cut up paper, and no pretty shapes and designs. :-(

Please show and tell!!!

I know the middle one is a plant, but I also see the top part of a face.

It does look like a wizard's head peeping up, and a thistle. :-)

"I'm not a green thumb"?!!! But you're garden is always gorgeous! You grow actual food! You've done organic gardening! You have a freakin' composter, for heaven's sake! Frankly, you are my standard for green thumb-age. You are so far beyond anything to which I could possibly hope to aspire when it comes to gardening, that the idea that you dismiss yourself in this regard is absolutely baffling!

Now, excuse me while I go kill a plant or two with my benevolent neglect.

Actually, I must confess, the garden is all the wonderhub and advice from the wondermother-in-law who is a master gardener. My gardening skills run to pruning stuff, pointing and saying put that there and watering the orchids in the bathroom from time to time.

The food growing mania? Wonderhub. Low water landscape? all the guy, fish pond = pure him. Me, I jst get to enjoy it and cook the veggies. :-)

Marilyn.

I'm trying to talk The Toymaker into letting me put in large veggie beds in the back yard in front of the fruit trees. I have to wait until she's out of town for a few days.
Then I can plant some winter vegetables!

Actually the Toymaker likes looking out the window at the nice green grass and the lemon and orange trees and does not want veggies in the backyard. Or a hot tub.

The Toymaker planning commission has however approved the pots for the side yard as well as the front courtyard.
