Habitat for Humanity
This is a photo of Prince William making a paper house that I designed for Habitat for Humanity. He's at the 21st World Scout Jamboree where 40,000 scouts have gathered from all over the world.

Other things I have noticed.

Prince William is left handed. And yet, he wears his watch on the left hand.
He is wearing a button with what looks like the Chilean Flag on it.
His shirt is slightly untucked. And his tie is far too long.
Some dude is giving him the stink eye.

Here and all I thought was," Jeepers, the guy is wearing a tie to a Boy Scout event. That's new.... We're lucky if we can get people to wear shoes...."

Yep, you called the button, don't know about the green one... Jamborees, like Olympics, are big on trading buttons. Ronn has a Hungarian girl scout pin. (Don't ask)

I am also a leftie, and I also wear my watch on the left. It is just so much easier, because, while we are left-handed, we are a LARGE minority group and everything is made for righties!! LOL!

Try using a mouse with a watch on and you'll see what I mean. For that matter, try using a mouse in your left hand!! (It's really uncomfortable because they are usually ergonomically designed for right handed users...)

Speaking as a leftie, that is probably a big reason why!

Just wanted to leave an FYI...

Marilyn, that is awesome.

... I am right-handed but switch back and forth using my mouse right or left-handed, because I get carpal tunnel syndrome quickly; I don't switch the buttons when I do that, either, although it is possible to do, I think.

Oh, sorry, I don't like leaving anon comments... that was me, Alison Whittington, with the ambidextrous mouse usage.

As a left-hander, I also wear my watch on the left wrist. If I were to wear it on my right one the stem of the watch would be almost inaccessible. Better on the left when one passes through several time zones on trips.

Wow! That picture made me smile because it reminds me that in a lot of ways the world is still small.

Small world indeed. This was hosted near where I live, 2 scouts from every country in the world bar 6 attended apparently! Watched it daily for a week on our local news. Royal approval for your toys Marilyn...what fame!
I just love them because they're beautiful and rather traditional...your paper toys, not the royals!!
Half my husbands family are lefties...my middle daughter was but school made her use her right:(

Hello! It is a small world, isn't it?

All my family has been involved in Scouts for generations. My dad's troop used to go camping with cowboys totally roughing it with a fish hook, bed roll and pocket knife. He was the first eagle scout in the panhandle of Texas. Now my hub is the Cubmaster for our Cub Scout troop.

Thanks for your kind words about my toys. I'm glad that you like them!

Best thoughts,

Marilyn.
